Hunger Ministries Video Initiative 2023
Growing for Good
In partnership with Como Community Council District 10 & Como Community Seed Library
Join us for an educational growing event to learn about pollinators, gardening, and the importance of sharing. Special features include activities for kids, tools swapping, local honey tasting, talking to a Master Gardener, and more. At this event, we will also be kicking off our Como Grow A Row Project for 2024's growing season. Let's cultivate a stronger community together!

Every Meal
In Partnership with Chelsea Heights Elementary
You can help with Every Meal's Weekend Meal Program, which is a mobile delivery solution that provides 4-5 pounds of substantive nutritious food to children directly at their school. At the end of each school week, meals are distributed into children's backpacks for them to take home for the weekend. Volunteers are more than welcome to help distribute food to children's backpacks at Chelsea Heights Elementary School. Watch the tutorial video for volunteers HERE.
