Every Meal Volunteer Food Packing Event

On August 15th, CPLC participated in our first group packing event at Every Meal’s warehouse in Roseville. During our two-hour visit, we had an opportunity to learn more about Every Meal’s effort to address food insecurity; for example, every Wednesday during the growing season, Every Meal delivers fresh bags of produce to nearby Head Start programs, and our team helped pack 2,238 bags of food, which held 8,578 meals for a total food value of $14,211.

Our team of volunteers had an awesome experience and would do it again.
