On Sunday, September 12th, CPLC participated in the ELCA National Day of Service.

We chose two service projects through Lutheran Social Services:

1. Blizzard meals for Meals on Wheels,
2. Program birthday cards for Camp Noah.

On a beautiful morning, some members gathered in the parking lot to assemble blizzard meals for Meals on Wheels while others decorated birthday cards in the Narthex. Over the course of an hour, members packed 130 meals and made 61 birthday cards.

Thank you to everyone who participated in these service projects and to Thrivent Financial Services for helping with material costs.
