“God’s work. Our hands.” Sunday 2022

On Sunday, September 11th, CPLC participated in the ELCA National Day of Service. We chose two service projects through Lutheran Social Services:

1. Blizzard kits for Meals on Wheels,
2. Birthday cards for Camp Noah (a children’s camp)

On a beautiful morning, some members gathered in the parking lot to assemble blizzard meals for Meals on Wheels while others decorated birthday cards in the Narthex. During the course of an hour, members packed 222 meals (almost 100 more than last year!) and made 30 birthday cards.
