MN FoodShare March Campaign 2024

MN FoodShare March Campaign 2024

Neighborhood Food Collection

Recap

On Sunday, March 17th, CPLC hosted our fourth Neighborhood Food Drive for the MN FoodShare March Campaign benefitting Keystone Community Services.

Together, with our Como Park and Falcon Heights neighbors, we collected 2,030 pounds of food and $2,400 in donations to help stock Keystone’s food shelves. All of the money raised will be included in Keystone’s March fundraising totals; which will allow Keystone to receive additional corporate dollars via the MN FoodShare Food Fund.

Thank you, friends, neighbors, and volunteers from CPLC and Como Connects for your generosity in making this our largest food collection since March of 2021. And, special thanks to the Como Community Seed Library for providing garden seeds, and Thrivent Financial Services for helping with refreshments and promotional expenses.

Together, we continue to foster a culture of generosity for our neighborhood.

With gratitude,

Hunger Ministries Staff, CPLC
